Today is 22nd Shaban,means that about one week left for Ramadhan.Have we prepare for that Holy month?How to prepare?Here are some good tips for those who want to be more prepared.A reminder for myself as well.
1 ) Prepare a Personal Action Plan-what are you aims and desired achievements for this month?Set specific targets and plan your time wisely. e.g planning to do more nafil prayer, qiyammulail, sadaqah, reciting Quran etc.
2 ) Evaluate yourself each day before going to bed. How can you improve yourself? What good deeds can be repeated? What bad deeds should be avoided?
3 ) Make a personal duaa list-include everything!Small and big, this world and the Hereafter.
4 ) Ensure that you have made up for any missed fasts from the previous Ramadhan (especially muslimah J )
5 ) Train yourself to go bed early to avoid missing Fajr prayers.And to train you to qiyam in Ramadhan as well.
6 ) Buy all necessities to avoid wasting precious time during the month.(NOT baju raya ya!)
7 ) Read more,listen more for inspiration and motivation (Islamic Books and Audio )
8 ) Technology diet!-(the hardest one I think J )-less TV,internet and unnecessary phone calls-less distraction!More Quran,Prayers,Zikr and Charity.
9 ) Plan da’wah activities in your community-(halaqat/usrah)-
InshaAllah,hope we all got benefit from those tips and willing to try our best,preparing for Ramadhan.
